Journalist Gerhardt Rheeder writes in the Middelburg Observer that while the three Heroes of the South African Armed Struggle were breaking down their
security door and then break through a panel in their front door, Elsie had the chance to alert her son Gert Lotter - who raised the alarm with MidAlarms and Radio
Group members showing up within minutes - and the unpaid volunteer citizen-crime fights arrested two of the three thugs at the scene. The two comrades were
taken back to the Badenhorst home to wait for the police to show up. The two arrested man, Clement Mnisi and Kogatso Msibi, appeared in the local court within a
day.

Two more security gates thwarted their attempts to get at the Badenhorst couple: the gate in front of their bedroom door and the one in the hallway.
The 'hungry' attackers then cut the telephone wires, climbed onto the roof of the study and tried to break in by breaking through the roof of the bedroom.
While Lotter was chasing to the Badenhorst home with a colleague he stopped an unknown woman to ask her to phone the radio group. She contacted Mid-
Alarms and police while Lotter and his colleague waited for reinforcement. The three comrades jumped across the wall and Lotter caught one, while two
members of the MidAlarms team grabbed the second one after a chase.
The third man escaped by jumping across a palisade fence. Found were items looted from the Badenhorst house in two bags: meat, softdrinks, their TV...
The thugs were ordered to carry the stolen groceries back to the house themselves where the group was welcomed by a very shocked Mrs Badenhorst - who
told the two police officers accompanying them to 'take the groceries, I don't want them'. Meanwhile the couple's son Kobus rushed to his parental home from
Pretoria to spent the night with his parents while the security doors are being repaired and reinforced.

shot and killed during a shoot-out with police last week, recalled the terrible ordeal he had suffered during an armed attack by the robber and his accomplices on the Fire Break Pub on Friday October 10. Ngomane and two other Heroes of the South African Revolution hadrushed into the West Lodge Bed & Breakfast earlier
that day where they threatened German tourists and robbed them of a mere 15 euros and some 'valuable' items. The tourists were lucky to escape uninjured.
Later that day, they targeted Fire Break Pub. Here the suspects, who were all wearing balaclavas, held attendant Mr Jaco Botha at gunpoint and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, a laptop and a phone. Botha suffered a serious injury to his hand and narrowly escaped death. A week before the incident, also on a night that Botha was on duty, suspects had also broken into the bar after he had left, but luckily there was no cash in the register. The burglars left with a bottle of Bells whisky. It is suspected that it was the same group of men responsible for the first break-in who returned on October 10. This time they waited until Botha was at the pub, knowing that he would cash up before he left. After he had locked the building he went to the parking lot to meet up with his friends, where the armed suspects caught him by surprise en route. Another employee saw the three trespassers and immediately phoned for help. One of the suspects allegedly heard him speak to the police, and told his accomplices to hurry up. “They seemed very edgy,” said Botha, and this is when he starting to fear for his life. “I told them to please calm down, and gave them the cash that was in my backpack. They asked me what else I had in the bag, whereupon I gave them my valuable belongings. I hoped that by keeping them busy, I would win a bit of time,” said Botha. They then took his backpack and in the scuffle, one of the suspect’s balaclava was nearly ripped off and the latter thought his identity had been revealed. He then instructed one of his accomplices to shoot and kill Botha. The latter was forced to the ground, with a gun against his head. The nervous gunman said he was going to count to five, and then do as he was instructed to.
BOTHA: “This was the longest five seconds of my life. He started counting and when he reached four, my backpack fell to the ground and, knowing how valuable the content is, I tried to catch it.” The man thought Botha was reaching for a weapon and got a fright. He then tried to stab Botha, but in a desperate attempt to survive, the latter blocked the blade with his hand, almost losing his thumb in the process. The suspects then fled the scene with Botha’s valuables. With blood streaming from his hand, Botha ran to his friends, who were unaware of the attack. They tried to stop the bleeding. His friends, who are all part of Graskop’s neighbourhood watch called “Die Meerkatte”, drove around looking for the men as the police had still not arrived. Botha then rushed to the nearest computer to track his stolen phone. He saw that the thugs were hiding barely a block from where the incident occurred. He notified the rest of “Die Meerkatte” of the suspects’ whereabouts. This was near a police officer’s home. Armed with his service pistol, the officer also went looking for them. He spotted the suspects near his home, still wearing their balaclavas. One of them opened fire, narrowly missing the officer. In an attempt to defend himself, he shot and killed one of the attackers. The other two fled, one with a bullet wound to the shoulder. The deceased was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm, ammunition and some of the items allegedly stolen at the two lodges. During the investigation it was found that the suspect had possibly been involved in other crimes in the area.
Botha recently underwent surgery to his hand, and doctors at Mediclinic Nelspruit were able to save his thumb. “Luckily none of my nerves or ligaments were damaged, and I will soon be able to retain its full use, but that is the least of my worries, I am very grateful to be alive.” PAGE GRAB OF REPORT ATTACHED.

On the night of 22 October when an elderly couple pulled into the driveway of their Middlevlei home they were met by unknown black male intruders.
Just as they got out of their vehicle, they were shot at. It's possible that the intruders had already been inside the house while the couple were away; this according to a close friend of the couple after speaking to the victim’s wife.
The elderly man lost his life after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound. Netcare 911 and other emergency services found the man lifeless on the scene and could not do anything to save him.His wife was not shot but was assaulted before reaching the safety of the house.Netcare 911 states that “reports from the scene indicate that the shooting incident took place during a "robbery” around 11pm.
Police says they will investigate the exact details of the incident. It's not known what was 'robbed'.
The death of this elderly man is a great ironic tragedy as a close friend of the couple described him as generous person always willing to help people in need.
This is the third murder in the Randfontein area brought to the Herald‘s attention since the beginning of October 2014".

AfriForum files charges of assault, intimidation and crimen injuria against Julius Malema
AfriForum today assisted a member of the public in submitting criminal charges of assault, intimidation and crimen injuria against MP and leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema. The charges stem from an incident which occurred at a take-away restaurant in Tzaneen, Limpopo on 6 August 2014.
CCTV footage of the incident was also released to the media. The footage shows the entire incident and can be viewed by clicking on this link.
Ernst Roets, Deputy CEO at AfriForum explained that they took the decision to assist the victim after he approached the civil rights organisation. "The incident sketches a clear image of Malema as a bully who regards himself above the law and his fellow citizens. We cannot allow public representatives to act like criminals without facing the consequences."
The video footage clearly shows how Malema pushes the victim at least three times, how he waves his finger in the victim's face and how Malema yells at him. Although the CCTV cameras did not capture audio, the victim submitted an affidavit at the police, confirming under oath the verbal assault which took place. Malema cursed the victim repeatedly and called him a "boer" (farmer). At one stage he yelled: "I will f*ck you up!".
The victim explained that the incident left him helpless and that he felt intimidated, especially as his wife was also on the scene and surrounded by Malema's followers.
Provincial Coordinator for AfriForum in Limpopo, Morné Mostert assisted the victim this morning to submit the charges at the Tzaneen Police Station.

I have read numerous newspaper articles about the crime statistics of our country and I’m shocked to see that murder and other violent crimes have gone up.
A lot of people don’t seem to actually care about this and I find it rather disturbing. If anything, this shows that our police are less visible in the streets and this
puts us in danger. It cannot be correct that we have such shocking figures, especially where people’s lives are lost.
This just simply confirms my sentiments that South Africa is a dangerous place and that our police is rather useless.

Farm attack on farm Keytersrust, District Meyerton
Two farms attacks in three weeks.
1st one 30 September 2014: Armed robbery, 5 black males of which ate least two had guns. Guns (2 X semi-automatic 9mm pistols and .22 Air Rifle), money ( about R5000), electronics (phones, iPads, TV, etc stolen. Woman farmer held at gunpoint, roughed up, threatened with steel pole and an iron. Dogs hurt. Farm worker amongst the attackers.
2nd one (23 October 2014): Two black males breached the perimeter of the property by cutting the electric fence, broke the security door and wooden door leading into the living room of the house open. Farmer (female) was alerted by dogs barking (one watchdog was inside the house). When she exited her bedroom, she saw the two men in the living room, screamed and set the dogs on the men. Intruders fled on foot. Left behind a bag with tools and a crowbar.

October 24, 2014 : East London super sleuth Christian Botha has cracked another missing person’s case with the discovery of the charred remains of a beautiful
mother-of-three at a rubbish dump in KwaZulu-Natal. The well-known private investigator was hired after Mrs Hamann, a former resident of Stutterheim,
vanished without a trace from her upmarket Harding, KZN, home on July 20.

Mr Botha’s gruesome discovery on September 4 2014 brought an end to her Eastern Cape family’s hopes that the bubbly young woman they called “Koeksie”
would be found alive. Although there was little left of her body – just a few bones and teeth – Hamann’s four rings were identified by family members, who broke
down when they realised this was all that was left of their beloved Nicolene.
Hamann’s family had spent a distressing month agonising about what had become of her after her husband, Ebrahim Hamann called her sister Nolene Hendricks,
30, to say she had disappeared from her bed on the morning of July 20. “He called to say that the devil had come into the house and taken her,” said Hendricks,
who lives in Buffalo Flats and enjoyed a very close relationship with her sister. She said Nicolene’s 15-year marriage to Hamann began to crumble about a year

there is no body. I could not believe someone could just burn her. We immediately drove to Harding.” “It was like someone tore a piece of my heart out,” said
Hendricks. Botha, who carried out preliminary investigations into the case before travelling to KZN, said he tracked down Nicolene’s cellphone, which had been
picked up and sold by two women recycling waste at a rubbish tip in Harding. “They showed me where they found the phone and I noticed that two or three
metres away there was a whole lot of ash. “I went through it and found a human tooth and then some finger bones, so I called the organised crime unit and we
found four rings that were positively identified by Nicolene’s friends. “It was a very hard call to make to let her family know because I knew how special she was
to them,” he said, adding he had worked hand-in-hand with KZN police on the matter. “Whoever did this should rot in jail for the rest of their lives,” said Langley.
SAPS Warrant Officer Abraham Sonnekus, the investigating officer in the matter, said police were waiting for DNA test results to come back from the forensic
laboratory. “We expect to make two arrests once the results are back,” he said.

when a 'beggar' accosted her while she was driving underneath the bridge in Rebecca Straat, demanding that she give him cash. She refused - and the man
smashed his fist into her face, striking one eye. Cindy's mom Marinda said the thug didn't steal anything because all her belongings were locked in the car boot.
"She was too shocked to do anything but a man driving behind her tried to chase the thug, who had run away in the direction of Marabastad,' said her mom.
Cindy is preparing to write exams. "We are always worried when she drives to her class: her car has no air-conditioning and she drives with her window slightly
open." The mother said that 'because nothing was stolen they didnt report the attack to the police. "They are clearly targeting young girls - especially those who
drive that road to get to the Pretoria Technical University, said the mother.
SAPS spokeswoman Ann Poortman commented that there are more 'general robberies targeting students and women rather than 'smash-and-grab' incidents.
"The motorists must keep their doors and windows locked and closed at all times, and specifically do not roll down their windows for people selling things next
to the roadside. And victims must report such incidents to the police so that they can 'become aware of crime hotspots', she said.

Survived rape and armed robbery ordeal: Afrikaner farm youth 14 forced to watch rape of mother 41 at gunpoint
Afrikaner youth, 14, forced to watch at gunpoint while convicted rapist Simiyoni Ndlovu raped his mother during armed attack at Boekenhoutkloof smallholding, Pretoria: on 6 December 2008 -- Found guilty SIX YEARS LATER: Simiyoni Ndlovu and Jacob Molubi. (It's unknown why the trial took so long before reaching sentencing procedure.)
TESTIMONY at PRETORIA REGIONAL COURT OCT 272 014:
"He (an Afrikaner farm boy) was 14 years old. His hands were tied behind his back. One attacker pointed his airgun at his head and threatened to hit him if he did NOT watch while his mom was being raped next to him on the bed... in his bedroom. "He was forced to watch how Simiyoni Ndlovu raped his mother. Six years later her son still blames himself for not being able to protect his mother. "He still experiences anger and helplessness because of his inability to intervene," stated a report handed in before sentencing starts at the Pretoria regional court at the convicted man's pre-sentencing procedures.
"The son still experiences overwhelming fear because of the continuous physical violence against him and his mother and because he was waiting for the attackers to kill them'. Ndlovu and Jacob Molubi were found guilty earlier of kidnapping, armed robbery, and a sexual offence for forcing the child to watch the rape of his mother. Ndlovu was also found guilty of rape and Molubi for owning an illegal firearm. The attack took place on 10 December 2008 at 07h00 when
a group of black males, one with a firearm, jumped across the fence of the unnamed Afrikaner family's smallholding in Boekenhoutkloof.
The youth's hands were tied behind his back and whipped across his back with an electric cord. The mother 41, was beaten with fists and forced to open their safe at gunpoint. Then the attackers took the child and the mother to his bedroom. "One threw my mother down on my bed. I sat on the bed: one pointed his knife at my mother and ordered her to 'open her legs'. Then he called another attacker over and said that 'if the child what he (Ndlovu) was doing, they have to hit the youth. Then they pointed the airgun at me,' the youth testified. After the rape-ordeal, the attackers locked the mother and child in the bathroom. Then the attackers assaulted a farm worker who was playing with his baby-daughter several hundred metres away from the farmhouse.
Public prosecutor Frenus Zietsman said this family's entire life was destroyed. "They suffered such a tremendous trauma that they can no longer function normally. The mother lives in constant fear and has three stomach-ulcers. She suffers severe depression. She cannot handle the trauma of the rape especially because it happened in front of her child,' said Zietsman.
The child failed his school-exams that year because of the trauma - and later he stopped going to school altogether and never matriculated. His entire future was destroyed that day." The case was postponed for sentencing.

Black-racist metro-cops illegally arrest Afrikaner dads for having dog on leash in pet-friendly Zita Park, Pretoria
GARSFONTEIN - ZITA PARK, PRETORIA Afrikaner dads Dawie du Plessis and Chris de Lange were arrested verbally and physically abused by black-racist metro-cops during his children's party in Zita Park, Pretoria - claiming they were 'drunk and disorderly', after accusing them of having a dog illegal in the park - however the dogs were on a leash, as was required. When the two Afrikaner dads insisted on taking a blood-test at the police station to prove that they were not drunk, their requests were denied. What made it worse was that after Dawie's little girl, badly traumatised after witnessing herdad being arrested, the metro-cops could care less about the fact that the child was left behind alone. People who knew the family took the child home but the metro-cops didn't take any trouble to find out whether Du Plessis'c hild was safe.
Du Plessis was at his ten-year-old daughter's birthdayparty at the Zita Park 'a pet friendly park' according to the city council, when a local security guard, a female, told him he was not allowed to have a puppy in the park - even though the signs clearly said that he could.
The two men were dragged in handcuffs into a police van at around 15h30 in front of their children and kept imprisoned at the garsfontein police station until 11h30 pm. Du Plessis' suffered torn ligaments in one arm because of the rough handling by the cops.
The local magistrate's court threw the case out and the men were not charged with anything. A day after the incident paper strips were pasted across the city signpost at the park to cover up the words saying that dogs were allowed in the park as long as they were on a leash.

Chris sê hy en die beamptes het oor die parkreëls gesels toe nóg twee beamptes by hulle aangesluit het.
“Dié twee het met my begin stry en hul vingers in my gesig geswaai vir my gesê ek moenie met hulle stry nie omdat hulle self die wet is,” sê hy.
Chris het omgedraai om terug te stap na die partytjie toe sy vrou, Sonja, vir hom skreeu om agter hom te kyk.
“Een beampte het my skielik aan my broek gegryp, boeie uitgepluk en my hande agter my rug vasgemaak,” sê Chris.
“Hulle het nie my regte vir my gelees of gesê waarom hulle my in hegtenis neem nie.”
Chris sê hy het rustig gebly en probeer om nie verder met die mans te stry nie.
Nog ’n man, Du Plessis, wat saam met sy kind in die park was en nie die De Langes se partytje bygewoon het nie, het sy selfoon gegryp en ‘n video begin neem terwyl Chris na di metrovoertuig geneem is.
Die beeldmateriaal wys hoe een van die beamptes wat besef hy word afgeneem, die selfoon by Du Plessis probeer gryp, terwyl Du Plessis benoud om hulp skree.
Du Plessis was teen die voertuig se neus vasgedruk en sy hande is agter sy rug geboei. Die ligamente in een arm is glo erg beseer tydens die inhegtenisneming.
Albei mans is agter in die voertuig gegooi en na die polisiestasie geneem waar hulle tot omstreeks 22:30 aangehou is.
Hier het Chris vir die eerste keer gehoor hy word van dronkenskap en crimen injuria aangekla. Du Plessis is daarvan aangekla dat hy met die inhegtenisneming ingemeng het.
“Dit was vir my vreemd omdat die sekuriteit by die park altyd koelbokse deursoek voordat mense by die park ingelaat word, om seker te maak daar word nie drank ingeneem nie,” sê Chris.
“Die sekuriteitsvrou het self ons koelbokse met kos daarin deursoek en geen drank gevind nie.”
Hy sê hy het by die polisiestasie aangedring op bloedtoetse, maar dat dit nie gedoen is nie.
Albei mans het Maandag vlugtig in die Hatfield-landdroshof verskyn, maar die saak is van die rol geskrap.
Chris se kinders, onderskeidelik tien en sewe jaar en een van 8 maande oud, het die hele inhegtenisneming aanskou.
Sonja sê haar een dogter was erg getraumatiseer en het die hele aand oor haar pa gehuil.
“Dit was baie vernederend toe Chris voor almal in die park in hegtenis geneem is. Meeste van die kinders wat daar was is saam met ons kinders in die skool.”
Vriende moes Du Plessis se kind, wat alleen in die park agtergelaat is, huis toe neem.
Met Chris se besoek aan die park die volgende dag, was nuwe rooi strepe, wat glo uit papier geknip is, deur die tekens op die kennisgewingbord geplak wat aandui dat honde toegelaat word mits hulle aan leibande is.
Chris sê hy gaan ’n saak by die polisie aanhangig maak.
“Sulke gedrag deur mense wat veronderstel is om ons te beskerm, is skokkend,” sê hy.
Rekord het die Tshwane-metropolisie genader vir kommentaar maar het teen druktyd nog geen reaksie gekry nie.

Pretoria metro-cops verbally and physically abused two innocent Afrikaner dads after they took their kids to Zita Park, which is advertised by the Pretoria City Council as a "pets-friendly" Zita Park. Apparently local white ratepayers who take their dogs to the 'pets-friendly' Zita Park have been physically and verbally abused and even arrested before by black cops of the Pretoria Metropolitan Council. Dawid du Plessis writes: "After numerous attempts by the metropolitan police to get the footage wiped from the camera this clip survived to tell the story of Afrikaner families being harassed. Imagine, you take your family to what is designated as a 'pet-friendly park' for your kids' birthday party - a day of celebation, and the little puppy was brought along in a chair to the festivities, after all it's a party for the kids. Then verbally- and physically abusive black cops turn up and all hell breaks lose. Those kids now will be scared and traumatised until they get psychological councilling. Those parents will have to pick up the bill. Left one of the parents is manhandled into the metro-cop's police van.
The metro-cops stormed into the park because they were alerted by the gate-guard of the 'pet-friendly park'. The guard called the cops 'because there was a dog in Zita Park. " However the park is 'pets-friendly'. The dog was on a leash.

Hatecrime: Refined Englishwoman, 92, suffers night-long rape ordeal by two black male thugs

The 92 year-old typical fine " English Lady " is not sure, but she thinks the man who raped her four times , was perhaps one of those to whom she regularly gave food to.
The smaller of the two also choked her .
While he was raping her , the accomplice stole jewellery and groceries .

" I was in bed , it was about 22:00 . I heard a noise on the ceiling , like a cut . Two men came through the ceiling , one jumped on my bed and the other turned the lights on and started opening cupboards , "she said.
The smaller one started raping her . He also choked her.
At one point, the other attacker returned. “I asked him to tell his friend to stop raping and strangling me, but he did not listen . He only looked for the keys to the cupboards , " she said .
The rapist searched the house with his accomplice and raped her again - four times.
She could not move when the attackers eventually left.
" That man only left my bed when the sun came up , " she said . She finally made it to the phone in the hallway , and she phoned the Sunnyside police.
“They said they were sending someone. I later realized no one was going to come. I struggled back to the bedroom for different numbers. I phoned my gardener a few houses away. He has worked 30 years for me. He is my son, who stays in Waterkloof , " she said .

WELKOM November 1 2014 - BEELD AFRIKAANS DAILY REPORTS: A "large black woman' tried to grab a shopping cart with an Afrikaans toddler in it, aged 16 months, while the child and his aunt were at a Welkom shopping mall. The entire incident was monitored on close circuit TV of the mall yet the SA police are not opening up any kind of investigation until 'the mother reports the incident personally to the police station,' reports Beeld daily newspaper.

I want to warn people to be aware at all times, especially in crowded places, and especially when you have a child with you.
