Report from Boere Krisis Aksie, well-placed source writes: "George Nieuwoudt, a retired lecturer from the University of the Witwatersrand, was stabbed in the chest with a large knife. He was also slashed across the bridge of his nose and the sternum. Mrs Nieuwoudt has deep stabbing wounds in both arms and left-shoulder. (The only loot: three cellphones and a camera). "The old folk fought like tigers and the rubbish had to jump through a large glass panel to get away. I salute the victims."
