---------------
September 1 2013 -- Customers and staff at Roman's Pizza, in Middelburg, South Africa were assaulted and pointed at with firearms during an aggressive three-minute armed robbery Sunday evening.
The victims were reeling from the traumatic ordeal at the hands of the black male gunmen - the horrors of which have been clearly captured on CCTV Security Camera's.
One of the suspects is barely an adult, probably in his twenties, and is seen violently demanding valuables from a couple who reportedly had just returned from Church and stopped at Romans on their way home.
A 48 year old man, identified by Police as Mr Stefanus Jacobs, is kicked in the face and his wife pushed as a 9mm pistol is waved in front of them.
The woman is then in a state of panic and shock as her husband is bleeding and injured.Despite initial resistance she eventually gives in and hands over every item in her possession: cellphone, handbag, purse and jewellery.
In the meantime three other black male accomplices - all armed with 9mm pistols - gather staff members together, steal their cellphones before completely emptying out every cent from the tills into bags.
One suspect stands at the door on watch.
Roman's Pizza, situated across McDonalds at the corner of Cowen Ntuli and Lilian Ngoyi Street, was relatively busy on Sunday evening as customers streamed in and out.But the black male gunmen were reportedly 'fearless and intimidating" - ready to fire the trigger at will.
"A man entered and asked for a Coke. The next second he had jumped over the counter and put a gun to my head," the store manager said. He asked not to be named.
There was no chance to press the panic button or escape and within minutes the robbers were gone and ordeal was over.
Police say they are 'desperately searching for the very clearly identifiable suspects:" A series of armed robberies has plagued businesses over the past two weeks and a possible link is being investigated.
The faces of the suspects are all clearly visible on the video, and any information that could identify them or lead their arrest can be forwarded to the investigating officer,
Warrant Officer Tobias Mogadime at 076 5366 028.
