BACKGROUND ON IGNA NORTJE'S MURDER IN THE REAL WORLD

August 20 2013: A video could shed more light on the murder of an Afrikaner audiologist from Middelburg was found dead in a ditch with her sloat slit in Verena, near eMalahleni in Mpumalanga .Lt-Col Leonard Hlathi said the body of 33-year-old Igna Nortje was found on Wednesday (May 30 2012) around 7pm, near her abandoned car."The woman was found with stab wounds to her throat and a toy gun was found next to her body."He said the woman's husband Riaan reported her missing earlier on Wednesday."The husband reported her missing in Middelburg when he could not get hold of her on Wednesday." Hlathi said the husband phoned close friends as well as the places she intended visiting on Wednesday, but no one had seen her.While searching for clues at the couple's home in Middelburg, police found that only a gas gun was missing from an open safe."Only the gas gun was gone, while there were other, real guns in the safe." He said police were investigating. The couple had a eight-year-old girl, Mia, the Beeld newspaper reported on Thursday.

Writes Alison Hall, describing herself as a "psychic medium who is 'investigating the murder of Igna Nortjé: "Igna was kidnapped from her home in Middelburg around 10.30 am, which is around the last time her husband spoke to her. As I am a psychic-medium, and have worked on such cases before, I was given no details, other than her name and a picture of Igna, From that I built up a profile and the events leading to her kidnapping-murder. I do not look up anything on the internet, so that it does not interfere with what I "See". From what I did pick up, Igna was known to her kidnapper, and I saw how he did it, as well as where he went in the house. Because my details were "strong" I was taken to her house, where I could confirm where the first suspect went, what he took etc. I could also see how she was ambushed from behind, with a hunting knife, as well as where the first suspect drove her to-which is a garage in Middleburg. There is CCTV video footage of this-where one suspect is seen meeting with this man in the video, and given Ignas ATM card-there was an amount of R 1000.00 withdrawn-her daily limit. Her BMW is then seen paked on the side of the petrol garage, and there is then footage of a female driving Ignas BMW to the front, where she gets out, goes to the ladies room and changes her boots. This first garage was very likely the meeting place, and payment for the murder contract. They then drove with her in the boot ot Middleburg dam. From there they took a trip of around 6 hours. The next stop we know of, is the butchery-garage at Steelpoort-that this video footage is taken from. The suspect then attempts to draw money from her ATM card again, but is unable to, due to her limit. Between Steelpoort and Groblersdal, they had a flat tyre, so that she would have had to be removed out of the boot, to change tyres. They were driving towards Groblersdal, and at some stage had to stop and collect a 5 ltr container, from one of their houses, because at the last garage in Groblersdal, this man was identified by witnesses, as walking to the garage, and then asking if the 5 ltres would get him to Pretoria. He later returned with Ignas BMW, where both the witnesses heard someone kicking in the boot. When he was asked, he said that he had his brother in the boot, who was on drugs. When the second witness approached him, he got scared and drove off. The second witness folllowed him, but seeing the gun he thought it was real, and having no response to calls from the police, stopped following. Just 4 kms from the Verena police station, Ignas car ran out of petrol. this is where she was dragged down about 9 metres from her car, and her throat was slit 9 times, while she was on her knees. The plastic gas gun that was stolen from her house, was found near her body. Knowing a member of a gange, without giving any details, this gang member said that this is a classic case of contract-gang initiation killing, and that the man being intiated, was very likely to be known to him, or she would have been killed earlier in the day. Also because the suspect in this video asked about the amount of petrol it would take to get to Pretoria, I also feel that her car was meant for a chop-shop in or near Pretoria, and that he has killed before and will do so again."
