14 Black officials of Free State Alcohol Control Board tossed out of Golden Nugget Spur restaurant for 'loutish, drunken behaviour'-- amongst them the Chief executive officer of the Free State gambling and alcohol control authority, Mrs Matilda Gasela, who threatened to ahve the alcohol license of the establishment cancelled - accusing patrons of 'racism' in two-hour altercation.

Bloemfontein. – August 16 2013 A group of allegedly inebriated black officials from the Free State Alcohol Control Board reportedly behaved so loutishly that they were tossed out of the Golden Nugget Spur restaurant belonging to the Windmill casino's security officers and the SAPS.
Chief executive officer of the Free State gambling and alcohol control authority, Mrs Matilda Gasela, also was present amongst the group at the restaurant - and the officials threatened to have the restaurant's license taken away, accusing the operators of 'racism', personnel and restaurant patrons said.
Restaurant patron Hester Steyn who sat near the group, said they 'were cursing badly and making a horrific noise. And the alcohol flowed freely'.
Another patron approached the group and asked them to pipe down because their 'language use was upsetting his children'. Ms Steyn said this was 'fat on the fire'.
Spur spokesman Luigi Casaleggio said the 14-strong group 'refused to calm down and refused to leave the restaurant'.
He confirmed that the casino's security staff and the SAPS were called in and after a two-hour-long altercation -- during which patrons at 13 other tables fled the restaurant - the group was 'accompanied from the restaurant'.
"This was a group of people who consumed a large amount of alcohol within a reasonably short time, and misbehaved,' said Casaleggio.
Mrs Gasela was outraged, saying 'the customer who asked them to calm down was a racist' and denied that her group was in any way 'misbehaving'.
