"My sister Vida Ras and daughter Vinishia were attacked inside their car in that wonderful city of gold, Johannesburg, Black City.
Both front windows broken and grabbed and beat the occupants of the car and ripped out everything they could get their hands on.
Visa was assaulted: taken hospital to try and patch her up somewhat. The two have survived but I believe permanently traumatised by people in our wonderful country.
One elderly black man who found some of the stolen stuff just discarded next to the road, actually brought it back to them.
He kept saying he was 'sorry' the whole time and said 'that's all I can do, bring back stolen stuff.'
Another black woman brought water and and then took it back saying she needs the water to drink and the water 'is not for everybody.'
How can we do something to get rid of this human flotsam but how much longer can we still just sit and pray, sit and talk and hope for improvements in our country?"
How much longer must we just accept this happening in our country? Would it be the solution to try and find another country for our home?
Our forefathers were travellers - we can adjust... we must do that for the future survival of our children.
I feel like MIchael Douglas in 'Falling Down' movie tonight...
