Drienie Nortje (68) attacked, bludgeoned over the head at her home in Carletonville.
She was able to flee and locked herself in her bedroom and broke a window to escape through. She had undergone surgery on a feet several months earlier and the escape caused such extensive injuries that the inserted pin emerged from her foot and she's back in hospital (Sunette Bridges)
