Lydenburg businessman Pieter Labuschagne 45, was stabbed by his black attackers every time he gave them a digit of his bank pin-cod on Wednesday May 14 2014.
Mr Labuschagne was in Burgersfort with a female colleague to undertake a repair-job at a local home - and had stopped and asked for directions by five black males on the road into Burgersfort. His friend Pieter Jordaan said Mr Labuschagne was badly traumatised by the torture-ordeal. He sustained a total of nine stab-wounds. The two Afrikaners were dragged from their bakkie, Mr Labuschagne was tied up with ropes and thrown on the back of his own bakkie - while the woman was dragged into the bushes and raped. The gang stole Mr Labuschagne's wallet and cellphone. They asked him for the pin-code of his bank card. "Every time he gave them a figure, they stabbed him,' said Mr Jordaan.
