Wierdabrug -- Nov 20 2013 - His fiancée was devastated when she received the news that well-known Afrikaans artist Robert Badenhorst had been found murdered, when she reported him missing at the police station.
Helena van Graan reported her life-partner missing at the Wierdabrug police station on Monday morning.Van Graan was then informed that the body of her partner, a well-known artist,
Robert Badenhorst, was found dead in a white Toyota Camry on the Ben Schoeman Highway, near the Trichardt Road off-ramp.
According to Captain Agnus Huma, the Wierdabrug police spokesperson, the police had received a complaint on Friday evening that a suspicious vehicle was standing next to the highway.Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that the ignition of the vehicle was still turned on. The body of the deceased was found on the back seat of the vehicle with pressed wood covering his body, Huma confirmed.The cause of death was unknown, but the police said they believed the victim had been murdered.
