UPDATE AUGUST 6 2013 --
In view of Mr Eberwein's racist hatespeech against whites, we are maintaining a separate record of the attacks by black militant-type gangs in the Heidelberg/Nigel Gauteng policing-district specifically targeting whites in hatecrimes. And we have this year, noted an upsurge in this area against its small white community. (There were just over 8,000 whites in Heidelberg in 2001*).

There definitely is increase in extremely violent attacks against whites - including a horrific attack against a wheelchair-bound, impoverished Afrikaner and his wife, in which the couple were cruelly tortured and he was bludgeoned to death. There even has been an incident where a herd of valuable cattle were slaughtered and maimed in a very cruel fashion at a local white-owned cattle farm - and the cruelty of which indicates that this may also have been a hatecrime targetting the white farmer. Mr Eberwein maintains the local Community Safety portfolio and thus would probably be fully aware of these facts. Has he ever spoken up about these attacks against his white constituents? For such a small number of whites in this rural community, the number of attacks should be far less. Nationwide, there were 60 murders of whites by blacks in the months of June and July combined, our records indicate.
