Celia da Costa, 48, wife of Lusito Land Festival Restaurant, shot dead in 'hijacking' M2 towards Sandton: boxed in by two cars

Johannesburg police confirmed that one of the co-owners of the Rodizio restaurant was gunned down on the M2 highway towards Sandton on Saturday-evening
2 May 2015. Police say two vehicles cornered her, a group of black gunmen inside the cars opened fire and fled the scene.
The 49-year-old woman was rushed to hospital where she died.
Lusito Land’s Naomi Contente said, “As far as we know the lady was travelling on the M2 towards Sandton and she was hijacked near the building of John Vorster Square, (the Johannesburg Police Station Headquarters - but on the highway.”
Organisers of the Lusito Land family festival in Rochelle, south of Johannesburg have confirmed she was the wife of one of the restaurant owners operating from their premises.
