Philene van Niekerk 19 said to the Afrikaans daily Die Burger that she begged the two blacks to not take her car. The incident occurred Saturday shortly before 18h00 at the crowded Fig Tree shopping centre in Walmer. When she walked from the Tops shop she spotted two blacks sitting next to her car, waiting - and immediately got nervous. She ignored her subconscious fears and when she got to her car one black man grabbed her arm and held a drawn gun to her stomach.' "I tried talking to the man while his friend got into her car - hoping to gain time. I looked into his eyes and pleaded to not take my cars. I tried to get people's attention, security guards were nearby leaning against the wall, ignoring her. "I tried to get the attention of other shoppers. I knew fleeing was not a good plan - I would have been shot dead.' The men chased away with her white Ford Tracer - she still ran after it hitting the windows but nothing helped. The phoned the police from The Spar shop. "I felt so unbelievable helpless. I felt as if I was living inside my own world. I have never been this angry - the car has a lot of sentimental value to me'. Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said nobody was arrested. The white Ford Tracer, registration number DZY 722 EC, is still missing. https://www.facebook.com/boerekrisisaksie/photos/a.178568022169751.48293.116298045063416/1135607486465795/?type=1&theater
