March 21 2015 - Sister and niece of Isobel Byleveld attacked by black man on Friday 1am who crushed sister's face with a sewing machine and hacked open the daughter's head - both in intensive car: mother requires facial reconstruction. There appears to be no motive.

"Who knows more details of the woman and her daughter who live near the railway tracks and were assaulted by a black man who threw a garden chair through a window and then just jumped in, beat her first with his fist and then crushed her face with a sewing machine?

Reply: Isobel Byleveld responds: Those are my sister and her daughter, on Friday at 01h00am. My sister is still in ICU. The doctors scheduled a facial reconstruction tomorrow. The left side (of her face) has been crushed: she likely also will lose her left eye. The back of the skull of her daughter was cleaved open and she has multiple injuries to the soft tissue across her body. The police have opened an attempted murder docket. (My sister and her daughter) are very traumatised.
