Update: picture of injured farmer Update: police in Delmas have arrested two of the three or four young black males who had brutally beaten and tortured and threatened to kill Afrikaner farmer Wim Oosterhuis, 54, on his farm on 4 February 2015. Mr Oosterhuis speaks of his ordeal from his hospital bed in an interview with the Afrikaans daily newspaper Beeld, describing how the black male attackers - whom he 'd never met in his life - threatened to 'tube' or 'waterboard' him if he didn't give them 'the large amounts of money' the thugs said he had hidden in his homestead. The farmer said in the interview that he had no money in the house at all as he had just returned from Mozambique. INTERVIEW Video: Interview with Afrikaner farmer Wim Oosterhuis 54, attacked on 4 Feb 2015 by black farm-attackers in Leandra, Mpumalanga: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPSJxwekYao&feature=youtu.be Seven years after farmer Jaco Oosterhuis (51) survived a farm-attack, he stood next to his older brother Wimpie's hospital bed after he was brutally assaulted and shot. The 54-year-old Wimpie was attacked on his farm near Delmas, Leandra with his wife Sunet on Wednesday evening 4 February 2015. Jaco told MaroelaMedia.co.za that Wimpie and Sunet arrived at their farm around 20h00 and were ambushed by 'three or four' farm attackers. "His garage is about 30m away from the homestead and when he opened the door, he was attacked. They kicked him and beat him and demanded money. Sunette also suffered assaults. The Afrikaner couple were tied up outside their homestead while the thugs plundered it - fleeing with their bakkie and taking away electronics such as a TV, a laptop computer and their cellphones, but leaving behind everything else. "My brother wasn't at the house to find out exactly what else was robbed,' said Jaco. "When the thugs fled they got out of their bonds and took their other car to drive to neighbours where help was summonsed. The bakkie wasn't 'stolen' - it was abandoned. Wimpie was taken to the Mediclinic Highveld in Trichard near Secund. He underwent surgery and was still in surgery when the hospital was contacted by Maroela Media who found out that he had scrapnel in his arm so we suspect he was also shot'. He may also have sustained a concussion from the beating and kicking - and Sunet was reportedly traumatised but physically 'orraait'. Jaco himself also survived a farm attack in March 2008. He was attacked by three blacks in his home on his maize farm near Delmas -- in bed. He was asleep awt around 01h30 when he was assaulted by blacks who slashed him with a machete over his head and face, and then he was shot in the left-part of his chest: the bullet just missed his heart. His family was inside the house during the attack but they remained unharmed. http://www.maroelamedia.co.za https://www.facebook.com/boerekrisisaksie/photos/np.44494535.100004102094863/1083882754971602/
