East London South Africa East London: According to our information two males entered the shop armed with a knife and a hammer , they held up the shopkeeper and closed the doors to the shop. In the process the shopkeeper was beaten with the hammer and stabbed. A alert community member saw what was happening and alerted other community members. The one suspect was arrested by community members while the other suspect escaped. The shopkeeper was robbed of undisclosed amount of cash , cigarettes and other goods.The shopkeeper is traumatised and recovering from his ordeal , well done once again to the Brookville community !
