A prayer and support group was launched on the internet for the Afrikaner victim of a hatecrime, Mrs Lynette Hugo, who was frantically stabbed by a black man with a garden-spade inside her home and kicked her so hard that the soles of his sports-shoes remain imprinted on her face.
She reportedly sustained a large number of serious, deep stabbing/cutting injuries to her face, skull, hands, neck and upper body. She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. It was reported the following day on 23 January 2015 that the hospital reported that her life was saved and that she was out of danger, but 'badly mauled' after her ordeal. There is no report that anything was robbed. There may have been two seperate black male attackers. She had ordered on man to leave her erf when she spotted him on her property and this man jumped across the wall and fled; but just moments later another man attacked her inside her own home with a garden spade and launched the frantic attack on her. We are awaiting more details to find out whether anyone has been arrested.

"Vereeniging: Dame is baie lelik aangerand in Anthenia Str Bedworthpark, Sy't verdagte bravo in haar erf gewaar en hom weg gejaag, hy't oor muur gespring en weg gehardloop. Oomblikke later is sy aangeval in haar huis met n graaf. Beserings is baie ernstig.
Ons vra asb dat die publiek sal bid vir Lynette Hugo en haar gesin.
