Still missing: 11Dec 2014: Jason Stanley Davies, 30, student teacher. Believed to have disappeared at the Hatfield Gautrain station more than a week ago, has still not been found. His last communication was that he believed he was being followed. His roommate, Laura Irving on Wednesday told The Rekord there is still no trace of Davies, also known to his friends as Stan.Irving last spoke to him last Tuesday over WhatsApp. “He was on his way to the University of Pretoria after he got off the Gautrain station in Hatfield,” Irving said. “At 12:36 he told me his cellphone battery was running low and he would let me know when he arrived safely at the university. He said he was at the Hatfield station and suspected he was being followed.”
According to her, Davies said a man got into the same taxi as him near the house they share in the Orchards, Johannesburg. The man then got off at Rosebank Gautrain station, where they boarded the same train and got off at Hatfield station.
Police Warrant Officer Dave Miller said Davies has not been found yet and the investigating officer is following certain leads. At the time of Davies’ disappearance, he carried a blue Quicksilver rucksack containing his laptop. He also had his ID and phone with him. He has short brown hair, light green eyes and is about 1.7m tall with a medium build ---
