Survives Murder attempt against Damian Warner, employee of #TheStar daily in Johannesburg: IOL.co.za tightlipped about an attempted murder outside The Star building where two of their own staff members were involved in an altercation that has left one in critical condition and the other facing a charge of attempted murder. Victim Damian Warner, who has now come out of an induced coma, sustained injuries including broken ribs, a compound fracture to his spine, a fracture to his collarbone and a punctured lung which must be operated on this week. IOL's chief of staff Zenariah Barends has laid a charge of attempted murder against Damian’s unidentified attacker.
