Besieged Afrikaner singer-activist Steve_Hofmeyr's friends Annemarie and Johan van den Heever, both 61, survive farm-attack by 'four neatly dressed black males"

Annemarie and Johan van den Heever (61) appeared in Hofmeyr's music video of his hugely popular song "Blou Ballon". They are the couple floating in a boat and spotting a blue balloon in the sky. "We are alive and grateful,' said Annemarie after the attack. 'Steve is very upset and phoned to support us.' Hofmeyr is an activist drawing attention to the deeply mysterious, very violent attacks and murders of Afrikaner farmers. He also is filming the lead role in the movie Treurgrond which also highlights the farm-attack horrors.
The Van den Heever couple were attacked by four black terrorists inside their home after they sawed through the burglar bars of their homestead J6 about 12 km outside Marble Hall. "The lights suddenly went on and these thugs said to us in Afrikaans: "Sleep Sleep". It was just before 03h00. The neatly dressed black males tied the couple's feet, took their two-way radios to stop them from alerting the Farm Watch system and even took the simcards from their cellphones. They demanded the keys to the safe and beat Johan repeatedly over the head. "I just prayed they would not shoot dead my husband in front of my eyes I could not have handled it.' After a while they untied Annemarie's feet and forced her to point out the keys to the safe. The gunmen weaponed up even more with the guns from the safe and stole R40,000 cash. They were careless, firing one of their guns which hit the floor tiles and scared them so much that they fled.
