Update Vista News journalist Alet van der Walt reports that Moeketsi Molelekoa, one of the nine black males from Thabong township who face trial for the cruel murder of Odendaalsrus Afrikaner Hendrik Jansen van Rensburg and the gang-rape of a family-member, --- has political motives: he has reportedly uttered many threats against whites on his two facebook pages. "He makes no secret of his fiery support for the Pan Africanist Congress of Axzania group. He reportedly wrote on FB that 'Mandela is a traitor and Robert Sobukwe 'a true hero'. Molelekoa was born in Thabong, attended the Lebogang Senior Secondary School and attended the Goldfield FET college - where he became involved in radical student politics. His facebook pages feature pictures of himself with other PAC-members with an AK47 military attack carbine, and stating that 'the land must be given back to the African people. He regularly closed his comments with the slogan "Izwe Lethu' which means "It's Our Land". He has two profiles: one under "Moeketsi Molelekoa" and the other under " Moeketsi Azanian Poqo Molelekoa." The photographs show that they are one and the same person. Molelekoa and eight other black males appeared in the Odendaalsrust Magistrate's court on 27 November 2014 to apply for bail.
The farmer was gunned down early on 4 November 2014 while walking to his milking sheds. The forensic investigation of the crime scene revealed that this large group of black males had been watching the homestead for several weeks before attacking the Afrikaners.
After firing three bullets into farmer Jansen van Rensburg's body, the gang then assaulted the farmer's daughter-in-law and granddaughters. One of the girls, 16, was reportedly also gang-raped. The farmer died enroute to hospital. The thugs then cut open his safe - which from their remarks to their victims, they knew was on the premises. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a revolver. Nothing else of any value was stolen from the homestead.
The investigating officer Sechaba Mahlatsi (telephone 082 4530 806) warned before the arrest of the nine-member gang that they were 'extremely armed and dangerous'.
Importantly, the farmer's 'stolen' Hyundai bakkie was found abandoned on the Erfdeel Road near Thabong - the township where one of the nine accused black males, the PAC-political activist Moeketsi Molelekoa, also lives.
During the attack, Afrikaner car mechanic Wolf Myburgh 73 who also worked on the farm, was hit so hard over the head with a steel pipe that he lost consciousness. It's not known what his current condition may be. It's also not known if any of the white family members still live at the homestead.
