Eldred Ian Smith writes September 18 2014: I read with interest tonight's newspaper comment quote: "Given Ngejane, a Vrygrond community worker, said they were unhappy about taxis being impounded and their permits revoked. We are doing this (burning tyres opposite Marina Da Gama) because our neighbours don't know our pain. We want their support as well"... Comments Mr Smith: "Well Mr. Given Ngenane, please look at what your people did to my son, to get ( a neighbour of yours) support. They destroyed his vehicle, ( not a window that is not broken, nor a panel not hit by your "sympathetic" (ha ha ha ) fellows looking for your neighbours' support. He has three holes in his head and a very bruised shoulder. His vehicle has thousands of Rands damage and he has had to see a doctor for treatment. If his girlfriend had not put herself underneath the dashboard, the rocks thrown through the passenger window would have hit her instead of him. Who knows what injuries she would have sustained, if not permanent. The moral of the story: "because our neighbours don't know our pain. " We want their support as well". Well Mr. Given Ngenane, YOU have GIVEN them sooo much pain that they will NEVER support you. I believe you need to go back to the drawing board and rethink that your animalistic behaviour will give you support." posted on
