SAPS publish identikit of doublemurder-suspect Themba Ephraim Mahlangu, PICTURE) sought for murder of Baby Wiehan Botes and carer Magrietha de Goede, 66, of Delmas on August 21 2012.
BACKGROUND:
Child day-mother Magrietha de Goede 66, and baby Wiehan Botes 9 months, were gruesomely murdered by a man the police have identified as Themba Epharaim Mahlangu, 26. They have three black witnesses in protective custody who have identified him.
The two Afrikaans people were murdered on August 21 2012 in the baby's Delmas home. Another child from another Afrikaans family, 18 months old, was found unharmed. There seems to be no motive for such an excessively violent act because a private investigator hired by the Botes parents recovered just a few cheap trinkets and a cellphone from the three men who were arrested while trying to sell on the 'stolen goods'.
By August 12 2014, the close-knit Mahlangu tribal community -- where police believe he is hiding from justice -- has still not turned him over to the police for trial... The police even carried out raids amonst local tribal 'initiation schools' where the man reportedly had been hiding out, but the sangomas (witch doctors) whose premises were raided claimed that they had thrown him out 'because he had killed a baby."
Two years later, r, an identikit has been compiled from testimony by witnesses. The three arrested men deny that they killed the two Afrikaners. They merely took the stolen goods from the killer, it is being claimed.
The baby and his carer were murdered on a home at Geldenhuys Street, Delmas, in the home of the baby's parents Wiets (33) and Rita (32) Botes.
Private investigator Mike Bolhuis, who was appointed by the couple shortly after the gruesome double-murder, said 'it was so gruesome that the entire investigations- and forensic team was left deeply upset.'
"We have still not located the known suspect, Themba Ephraim Mahlangu. 29. We are asking anyone with information to contact us. He was last seen in Delmas.
People may contact Bolhuis at 082 447 6116 or the Delmas police at 012 808 1414."
Background:
On 21 May 2012, 5 month old Wiehan Botes was found strangled to death at his caretaker’s house in Delmas, South Africa.
The carer, Mrs Margrietha de Goede, 66 was also found strangled to death. While the details of their injuries have never been made public, they reportedly were 'gruesome'.
The hardened SAPS investigators and forensic team reportedly were traumatized by the gruesome scene.
Stolen were a few cheap items belonging to Mrs de Goede, including costume jewelry and a cellphone.
These stolen items however led to the three men fencing such goods by private investigator Bolhuis who was hired by the parents shortly after the double-murders.
He quickly apprehended the black men who were found in possession of the carer 's jewelry and admitted to receiving them from the alleged murderer. Two were named as Enock Mbele, 44, and Lazarus Mabhena, 54. They were denied bail when they appeared in court on 31 May 2012 in Delmas.
Their case is still pending and reportedly they have been in custody ever since.
Meanwhile the murder-suspect Themba Epharaim Mahlangu's compiled identikit is being distributed on the social media in South Africa at the moment in the hope that members from his own community will turn him in.
He was last seen in Delmas. The Mahlangus are a small, close-knit sub-tribe of the Zulus and historically have lived at homesteads in the greater Pretoria and
Magalies areas ever since the founding of the Boer republics. They are known for their geometric designs of their beaded jewellery and their painted thatched homesteads.
First report: "Baby, woman murdered at Delmas daycare"
2012-05-23 Cape Town - A caregiver and a 5-month-old baby boy were found murdered in Delmas, in Mpumalanga, police said on Wednesday.
The mother of the murdered baby had phoned Margrietha de Goede, 66, the caregiver, a few times to check on her child who was sick, but there was no answer.
The woman and a friend then went to the day mother's house, but became concerned when they heard a child crying.
They broke a window to gain entry to the house where they found an 18-month child, and called police when De Goede and the other baby, Wiehan Botes, could not be found.
Police arrived and made the grisly discovery of the Wiehan's body under a bed. Mrs De Goede, 66, was later found dead in a garden shed.
Police forensics officials were on the scene until after 18:00.

Background:
More than 5000 'white' (96 percent Afrikaans-speaking) farmers have been brutally murdered in South Africa since 1989. This is being recorded on archives maintained by the community on http://www.tlu.co.za, http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com and http:www.censorbugbear.org/farmitracker reports, amongst many other online sites.
This is being done out of necessity because the ANC-regime has barred the use of demographic identifications in crime-reports in South Africa and is forcing the newspapers to adhere to this rule.
It has been recorded that since 1994, at least 60,000 white South Africans and many South African ethnic-European immigrants have been murdered by armed black-racist male gangs.
A great many of these crimes - primarily carried out by black male gangs - bear all the hallmarks of hatecrimes accompanied by excessive mental and physical cruelty: often family members are forced to watch while the victims are being murdered: often gang-raped and often tortured horribly before they are die or remain permanently traumatised and often disabled if they survive.
After the Botes/DeGoede double-murders, several Afrikaner-rights groups protested in Delmas (picture) against the senseless slaughter of white South Africans. They marched to the Police Station and handed over a memorandum to the Station Commissioner just a few days after the double-funeral.
The Democratic Alliance opposition party however condemned the Afrikaners' protest for its 'racial motivation'.
Since 1994, countless babies and young children have been murdered throughout South Africa. According to international crime statistics in 2011, South African children were being murdered at more than twice the rate of the world-average in any other country, including in war-zones. And while black communities often protest against the murders of children in their own communities, they continue to condemn protests by whites against the murders carried out by blacks against whites.
The ANC-regime officials hardly ever condemn the murders of 'whites' although we have recorded some official statements during their once annual "Campaign against violence against women and children' - apparently the only campaign when people may 'officially' demonstrate against the murders of children. Afrikaners are widely condemned whenever they try to demonstrate against the murders of their own children by blacks.
