Senior correspondent Chris Reason said it was a bit of a 'heart-starter'. "We had broken one of the security protocols: we rolled down our windows because the car was steamed up, it was raining. Two guys with large 10cm long 3cm wide knifes were at the window in no time. "We don't want to make too much of this as what happened to us was nothing by comparison to the high crime rate in South Africa. He said one guy reached in to grab the key but cameraman Rob Brown grabbed the hand and stopped him. The other guy also then kept trying to stab him with the long knife but its point 'just deflected off his jacket', he didn't get hurt. We tried to figure out what it was they wanted so I threw the laptop and computer at them but they didn't want that they wanted a cellphone so we threw them one and they left," said Reason.
