Missing Southport woman found murdered, tied up in car boot KZN
Feb 25 2014 - Southport KZN The body of a woman (61) was found in the boot of her vehicle in Sunwich Port at 10.30am this morning. Police Lt-Col Zandra Wiid said the woman’s feet and hands were bound and she had an open wound on her neck. The woman’s name has not been released.
Lt-Col Wiid said Southport police responded to a report of a missing woman. “But before police could reach the house in question, they received a report that a family member had found the woman’s body in the boot of her vehicle some distance from the house.”
Wiid said the woman was last seen this morning at 6.20am when her son, who stays with her, left for work. “The motive for the killing is under investigation,” she added.
