Survived: Mrs Norma Stapelberg stabbed in Kokopelli restaurant parking lot Nelspruit by 2 black males Nelspruit, February 21 2014. Mrs Norma Stapelberg was robbed in the Kokopelli restaurant's parking lot by two young black men who stabbed her with a knife. She sustained injuries to her left arm and hand. She was going to meet her friends at the venue to celebrate a girl-friend's birthday when she was attacked and robbed of her cellphone, her personal effects and the present for the friend. Stapelberg is still dazed, saying she cannot recall much of the exact details - just the fall when she was pushed to the ground. "I was very shocked but this wasn't the first time this has happened to me,' she said. Her only wish was that 'no-one should make a big fuss about it' because she was determined to celebrate her friend's birthday with her. Officials of J&M Sekuriteit were on the scene first but after an 'intensive search in the thickly wooded area next to the parking lot, found no-one. Kokopelli's co-owner Ms Lise Bouwer said she was deeply shocked by the attack and assures the public that there now will be a J&M security guard on the site seven days a week, every night. 'We have security officials with panic buttons and flashlights but one guard called Gibson failed to show up that night and the other one showed up only at 20h00 - after the attack'. The other co-owner Ms Elmarie Dry also said that they will do 'everything within their ability to prevent such an attack from occurring again. More lights will be installed and a permanent guard will be appointed to assure the safety of our guests.'
